Dr. Adam Hughston

BOARD CERTIFIED GASTROENTEROLOGIST

Dr. Adam Hughston is a board-eligible Gastroenterologist with Lubbock Digestive Disease Associates. He performs routine GI procedures such as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy in the diagnosis, screening and surveillance of gastrointestinal diseases and cancers. In addition, he also performs complex polypectomy and dilation in addition to other endoscopic procedure. He is a member of ACG, ASGE, TSGE and the Crohns and colitis foundation.

Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?

I chose gastroenterology because it allows for me to treat large variety of patients and conditions while allowing me to do a variety of procedures.

Do you have a specialty of interest in Gastroenterology?

My clinical interests include endoscopy and colonoscopy, colon cancer screening, esophageal disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, cirrhosis management and more.
