Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?

Early on during residency, I realized that caring for patients with digestive problems was what I enjoyed the most, particularly those in whom a prompt procedural intervention could make a profound difference in the outcome.

Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?

General Gastroenterology with focus in colon cancer screening and prevention, as well as viral hepatitis, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy including ERCP.

Undergraduate School: Instituto Jose Peña. Cordoba, Argentina.
Medical: Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, Argentina.
Internship: Harvard Medical School.
Residency: University of Massachusetts.
Gastroenterology Fellowship: The Brooklyn Hospital Center, clinical affiliate of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.

Family time, reading, mountain biking, watching soccer and traveling.
