About Kim Gentry, M.D.

Dr. Gentry was born and raised right here in Dallas, Texas. After his graduation in 1984, Dr. Gentry attended the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas where he completed his internship and residency training. In 1987, Dr. Gentry began his fellowship training gastroenterology and hepatology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Immediately following his appointments at Baylor, Dr. Gentry moved to Arlington and became one of the founding partners of Arlington Gastroenterology Associates, LLP, a single specialty gastroenterology practice. In September 2007, Dr. Gentry and his fellow partners in Arlington Gastroenterology Associates unanimously decided to join their colleagues in Texas Digestive Disease Consultants, PA.

Dr. Gentry is board certified in gastroenterology. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and Tarrant County Medical Society. His procedural skills include diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy and endoscopy, and diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP, including sphincterotomy and stent placement. Dr. Gentry enjoys spending time at the lake with his family, cheering on his children at their various sporting events, and mastering the art of outdoor cooking. He and his wife reside in Arlington with their five children.

This was my first colonoscopy. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Gentry and he made me feel comfortable. He demonstrated an excellent bedside manner. I had some fear but, the process went smoothly with no problems. I am prepared for next one. If you feel like I did, no need to fear, it will be ok
