Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
I chose gastroenterology because I found the subject matter fascinating. I found that I can evaluate a problem then formulate a diagnosis by directly visualizing the underlying disease via endoscopy. I then could formulate a therapy and confirm efficacy. This directly impacts patient care.
Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?
I don’t have a specific interest, as I enjoy treating all aspects of gastroenterology.

Medical School: University of Illinois, Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship: Loyola University.
What certifications do you hold?
Board Certified in Gastroenterology.

Dr Negme was very nice and also very professional. He provided very clear information about my issue and clearly discussed the options available. Only issue I had at all is that he’s hard to get into. Took a couple of months from the time I first called for an appointment. When you are good, I guess you stay busy.
