Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
I love the myriad of disease processes that Gastroenterology has to offer. It is a perfect combination of seeing patients & performing procedures.
Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?
My passion is liver disease. It’s pretty amazing to see the advances in antiviral therapy & be a part of an amazing future.
Where did you study?
Medical School: Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine, Internal Medicine Residency: Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, Hepatology Fellowship: Baylor University Medical Center, Gastroenterology Fellowship: University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
What certifications do you hold?
Doctor of Medicine.
What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?
I simply enjoy spending my spare time with my spouse of 16 years and my two boys, ages 4 and 6 who keep us plenty busy. My husband is an avid traveler & I’m proud to say we have seen all seven continents thus far.

And I didn't feel comfortable with that. So my mom recommended her that is her doctor and she explained everything to me. And I know when it gets closer, You know they'll have more explanations of what I can take before the what I have to get done done.
The communication with the assistant was not the best.
