Wonderful experience here. Waiting time was very minimal, and everything was fast and efficient. Staff and nurses were very nice and friendly. I had a very nice and great anesthesiologist, went to sleep probably in 5 seconds. Technician was very nice answering my questions. Dr. Amaro was wonderful and made my whole first experience easy. I am an Army combat retired soldier who gets "care" through the VA. However it has not been very thorough. I have felt ignored and dismissed so I asked yo see someone in the community. DR. Amaro really made me feel heard, and empathized with. I felt Dr. Amaro was thorough and caring, and asked me a ton of questions and really wanted to know how I felt. My symptoms were not dismissed or taken lightly and I felt a huge sense of relief and like I was finally in the hands of an expert!

Dr. Amaro and entire group at the hill country ambulatory facility were fantastic. However, the pre procedure communication was horrible. You can't talk to a live person without jumping through numerous hoops. If you follow instructions and get a text, it takes days for return call. I had to call several times to get someone to call me back.
Staff is always polite and has a sense of humor which I love! Dr Amaro explains results in terms I understand.
