Dr. Randy Chung is a Gastroenterologist with Texas Digestive Disease Consultants. He is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood Hospital.
Dr. Chung is a Houston native and graduated from Rice University with summa cum laude. He earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Dr. Chung then returned to Houston where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and served as Chief GI Fellow.
Dr. Chung provides comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with a wide range of digestive and liver diseases. He is specialized in performing a variety of GI procedures, including Upper Endoscopy and Colonoscopy. He is fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese).

I love Dr Chung, very thorough and his staff was very nice. The only negative I have to say is the front desk receptionist was not very nice, or kind to me. But several times I’ve been there she was rude and unfriendly. Not nice at all and when she tried this last visit it was very fake. But everyone else, super nice and personable.

Dr.Randy Chung is a very professional and intelligent doctor. He’s very detailed in his work and takes care of any problems you may have. I enjoy and respect him, and I appreciate his efforts and caring of my health.
Dr. Chung and his staff were really nice, attentive and just created a really nice atmosphere. A very pleasant staff. They called with several reminders before my procedure as well as a call the next day to see how I was feeling. I would definitely recommend Dr. Chung.
Amazing doctor he listens to your problems, and is very kind. I felt like we were going to find an answer to my stomach problems. His front office & nurse were super sweet.
Dr.Chung listens to you, explained everything I need, does not rush you out of the room, and explained the care of plan for me, a five stars here (or more).

Dr. Randy Chung is a GI doctor who is very informative and detailed when explaining care. I saw him at the Kingwood location.His MA assigned with him was sweet as well. The front desk clerk who checked me in and out was not so polite

Dr Chung, as well as the staff, was very easy to talk with. I appreciate their professional, yet pleasant attitudes. Everything was explained ao well rhat I had no questions. I was very pleased with my visit.
The staff was amazing. Even though I was so very tired and my obviously not myself. They were patient and helpful. And if not she is a darn good actress. And Dr. R. Chung was ( in my initial visit) very amicable. I was, overall, very pleased. I highly recommend his practice and that of his staff as well.

The service was very thorough. The doctor and staff very personable. It was the 1st visit, mainly a consultation. There are other visits to follow that include test to be done.
I am very happy with Dr. Chung. He took time asking me questions about my health and previous history of my condition. He prescribed prescription I needed after he received my lab results before my follow up appointment. Office staff are very nice.
