"I was very impressed. I had only met Dr.Ramos one time before, at a scheduled Colonoscopy. After 5 yrs and time to do it again, I scheduled a visit with him due to other issues that my PCP kind of brushed off. Dr.Ramos listened, suggested ways to alleviate the issues and scheduled a CAT scan. It's refreshing to actually find a Doctor that listens!"

I’ve never experienced an entire staff of employees who have the same mindset to consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience. Every member from the registration (Alondra) , RN’s (Katrina, Catherine), Anesthesiologists (Greg), and Juliana and Andrell took great care of me. "Wonderful experience. I highly recommend Dr. Ramos and his team to anyone considering a colonoscopy. From the onset the office staff were very professional and answered all my concerns. The RN explained what was happening and what I should expect during the procedure as she connected tubes and sensor to my body. Next the anesthesiologist came in and explained what he was going to do and what type of anesthesia he was going to use. Next Dr. Ramos came in and introduced himself and answered any questions I had. After the procedure, a nurse made sure I was alert and explained what happened. Dr. Ramos came in and showed me the results and explained what they meant and made recommendations. The day after a nurse called me to check up on me and see how I was feeling and to see if I had any concerns. All in all, a very pleasant experience. Again, highly recommend Dr. Ramos and his staff."

"Dr. Ramos is the best! We first researched him on Vitals, Healthgrades etc while looking for a new doctor for eldest son with UC. Then, later went to him for routine Colonoscopy, mystery stomach pain and Special-needs, non-verbal-youngest son digestive issues. All our myriad of issues resolved! Dr.Ramos's knowledgeable, practical and empathetic approach is key to solving our heath issues. Also, the facility he uses, Lone Star Endoscopy exemplifies true professionalism. Last, did I mention we drive 2 hours one way just bc Ramos is that good...CKinser 11/13/2023Update: I've been having some issues and have tried repeatedly to schedule an appointment. When I could get the office to return my calls, I was told I would have to wait until 2024 to be seen. And, they were not scheduling appointments for 2024 until the end of October. We're in the middle of November and I'm still waiting for a phone call. The worst part of this story is I repeatedly told Ramos office something is amiss and I still could not be scheduled. There must be alot of bad colons out there and all of them trying to see Ramos. We're looking for another doctor who's not part of TDDC."

Then prescribed an alternative medication that would be best for me and advocated for it, on my behalf, to my insurance company. He could have just accepted the insurance company’s initial denial and prescribed a lesser alternative, but he didn’t. He fought for my best interests."

"Dr. Ramos has always been very detailed when explaining a summary of my health issues. He breaks things down on a level that is not demeaning at all. Things are explained in layman's terms yet done in gentle, non-scary way. He provides a future health plan to help you figure out how best to proceed. For example, his plan (and mine too) is to come off my GERD medicine. In order to do so, he talked me through a "game plan" so I can accomplish my health goal prior to my next visit. The hope/plan is to hopefully remove the meds, if not, then reduce the dosage. For his gentle honesty and his wonderful demeanor, I truly appreciate that in a physician. It makes me feel comfortable being in his care for the long term."

I’ve been to other specialist that had the nurses do most of the work and would literally tell me my prescription and leave not even giving me 5 min of their time. Dr Ramos isn’t like that.
