However, for over a year now, I only see a nurse or maybe a student doctor. I am not sure but she seems quite compitent so I am not concerened. Just seems odd that I no longer see Dr. Altug."

"This place runs like a well oiled and clean machine. I went in to have Dr Altug take a look-see down my esophagus to my stomach. This procedure necessitates being put into lala land. After awakening, I had no discomfort whatsoever. I didn’t feel as though anything had been down my throat. Beautiful, just beautiful. I wish every procedure could end like this one did. "In an " imperfect world" we tend to stumble ,and sometimes come up to " barriers. I am a " transplant " from a different city,due to the " virus " that has claimed so many of us ,young and old ,to be near my daughter, and my married grandsons,with families. I found the staff and doctor to have been fantastic and caring, will be needing follow up, but no problem with that."

"Oh, my! After dealing with my previous gastro's lack of communication, this practice us fabulous! Received a next-day appointment. Dr. Marcum spent more than 30 minutes with me, delving into the possible root causes of my concerns. I wasn't rushed, and I was heard! I was able to have my upper & lower GI scopes the next day! Follow-up calls from the endoscopy center and the doc's office were greatly appreciated. I wish I had found this practice years ago."
"I have been to Dr Marcum at least 5 times over the last 15 years, having colonoscopy's. Never have I had any problems with him or his office staff. I have never experienced any of the things that I read on review in a negative matter. I just read some of them which made me write this review. I don't like going to get this procedure's done, but necessary for me. I go every 3 years. Just went last month and I have nothing to complain about. Only good things to say about him and his staff. "I needed an EGD and Colonoscopy due to ongoing chronic diarrhea as well as other problematic issues with my digestive system. I had both procedures performed yesterday by Dr Manish Rungta and his staff as well as the staff and anesthesiologist at Bay Area Houston Endoscopy Surgical Center. When the nurse woke me up in recovery ro inform me that my procedures were all done, I remember exclaiming, "It is? I didn't feel anything! That's amazing!" My heartfelt thanks and gratitude go out to everyone involved who took care of me, and would definitely recommend my gastroenterologist and this center to anyone needing procedures for their digestive tract. As of today I still don't feel like I had these procedures, even though I know I did. Everyone made me feel at ease and that my needs mattered to them. This also includes the preoperative staff as well. The only negative thing was the Prep Solution and cleaning out your system the day before. Yuk!!!"
