Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
I chose GI because it allows me to build a long term relationship with my patients and help manage both acute and chronic disease. Gastroenterology provides me with the perfect combination of diseases with interesting pathology and hands-on procedural intervention.

I absolutely love Dr. Chona. She is patient, sweet, understanding, and she LISTENS. She does not pressure you to do anything, or take any meds that you don’t want to. She informs you on what’s going on thoroughly and give you all of your options. I’m happy with my choice in choosing her as my provider.
