About Jason Allen, M.D.
Jason Allen, MD, is a highly skilled and experienced board-certified colon and rectal surgeon in Fort Worth, Texas. He completed his general surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center, where he was honored as the “Outstanding Fourth Year Resident” by the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery. Dr. Allen further honed his expertise by completing a residency focused on colon and rectal surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and prior to that, he achieved a Bachelor of Science in biology from Davidson College in North Carolina, graduating cum laude. During his undergraduate studies, he was actively involved in both the biology honor society and the premedical honor society.
Dr. Allen has made meaningful contributions to the medical field through various presentations on significant topics, including “Multimodal Therapy of Rectal Adenocarcinoma.” His professional memberships include the Society of Baylor Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons as an associate member. He is board-certified in surgery and holds medical licenses in Texas and Illinois.
Additionally, Dr. Allen has enriched his life experiences by serving as an assistant language teacher through the Japanese Exchange and Teaching Program.
