Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
GI offers a unique combination of the cerebral side of internal medicine with the procedural side of surgery. We get to practice in the best of both worlds as we take care of patients.
Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?
Colon cancer screening and advanced therapeutic endoscopy.

Medical School: University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, Residency and GI Fellowship: Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University Medical Center
What certifications do you hold?
Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy traveling and spending time with my wife, a local pediatrician, and our two young sons.
