About me
I am a nurse practitioner who is passionate about optimizing digestive health by working together with patients to meet their short- and long-term goals. She believes that gastroenterology requires a holistic approach as lifestyle, diet, and culture contribute to gut health and overall wellbeing. I strive to make patients feel comfortable and emphasizes open, honest communication to help cultivate positive relationships and empower patients to take an active role in their health.

Where did you study?
I am a Texas girl through and through, born and raised. I attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth for my undergraduate degree in Nursing. After 14 years of practice, I decided to return to school to obtain my Masters in Nursing. I graduated magna cum laude from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois. My work history involved pediatric ICU, orthopedics, heart surgery, family practice, internal medicine and urgent care work.

What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and four kids. We love to travel especially abroad, trying new foods when we travel and learning about other cultures. We watch all sports and try to play most of them. We also enjoy spending time with extended family and volunteering.

  • Never share your Medicare number, Social Security number, or banking information with unsolicited callers.
  • Medicare will never call you unexpectedly to request your number or personal details.
  • Be wary of offers for “free” medical equipment or services in exchange for your Medicare information.
