Dr. Lilah Mansour is a board-certified Gastroenterologist with Texas Digestive Disease Consultants. She performs routine GI procedures such as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy in the diagnosis, screening and surveillance of gastrointestinal diseases and cancers. In addition, she specializes in all aspects of Gastroenterology, and also performs endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) for biliary disorders, esophageal dilation for strictures, and hemorrhoidal banding. She is fluent in English and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the Texas Medical Association, and the Travis County Medical Society.

Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
I specialized in gastroenterology because I am fascinated by the variety of interesting diseases we diagnose and the technical expertise required to perform our procedures. Additionally, I am drawn to the fact that gastroenterologists prescribe a balance of preventive care and treatment to help our patients. From treating common digestive issues, like indigestion and irregularity, to helping patients stay healthy by screening for colon cancer, I am grateful for the opportunity to help my patients with their health and well-being.

I enjoy all aspects of gastroenterology.
What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with my family, being active and outdoors, and visiting the sights and scenes of Austin. From seeing the Texas Longhorns compete to visiting local food joints and restaurants, there is always something fun to do here in Austin.

Dr Mansour and all support staff are personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate. The pre-op nurses called to review my health history and make sure I understood the prep instructions, the receptionist was welcoming and efficient, the pre-op nurse was caring and friendly, the anesthesiologist was friendly and informed about my history, the surgical team was caring, Dr Mansour is always delightful - she’s warm and approachable and the smartest cookie in any room, and the post-op nurse was efficient and gentle. The practice has called at least twice to ask how I was tolerating recovery. I recommend the practice unreservedly.
Dr. Mansour was wonderful. Scheduling was great and easy. My procedure was uneventful and she answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend her.
I did have a very pleasant experience with this facility. Very clean and well organized. Dr. Mansour was very nice and explained everything well. The whole staff were all nice and professional from start to finish. I would highly recommend this place.
Despite the busy schedule on a procedure day, she took the time to hear my questions and address them. Although there were no problems found, I will certainly go back to her if I need a gastroenterologist.
It was the first time i had Dr Mansour, since Dr Kiker was ill the day of the procedure. She took on his patients as well as hers which was so generous. She said the patients come first. I would give her a 10/10. Every person in the office was outstanding from the receptionist to the nurses and doctor! Would totally recommend.
I agree, a colonoscopy is no fun. It's necessary and vital to good health, but not fun. Dr. Mansour and all of her staff make you feel comfortable and not embarrassed in the least. They explain everything in general terms in person and on calls before the procedure so you know exactly what is going on. I highly recommend them.
Not only is Dr. Mansour an incredible doctor with an over the top bedside manner, but every one of her supporting staff was exceptional. There was nothing that could have made such an unpleasant procedure a great experience. I wouldn’t choose anyone else.

I was very impressed by the facility and the ease in making the appointment , the staff , nurses and my Dr Mansour, she throughly explained what was going to take place in the procedure and was there afterwards with findings, the follow up was superb.
