Dr.  Usman Ansari is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist with Texas Digestive Disease Consultants.  Dr. Ansari is a Houston native and went to the University of Texas at Austin for undergraduate.  He then went to Northern California for Medical School and returned to Houston Methodist Hospital for Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship.

Dr. Ansari has a broad interest in gastrointestinal and liver disorders. His areas of research through fellowship included identifying relationships between systemic disorders and chronic gastrointestinal symptoms, contributing to review publications on biologics in Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis, and Colorectal Cancer prevention. Other areas of strong interest include Reflux Disease, Motility Disorders, IBS, and Chronic Liver Diseases.

Dr. Ansari provides a comprehensive and holistic approach to each of his patients. He performs Upper Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Push Enteroscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, and Hemorrhoid Banding. Dr. Ansari is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi.

Please remember:

  • Never share your Medicare number, Social Security number, or banking information with unsolicited callers.
  • Medicare will never call you unexpectedly to request your number or personal details.
  • Be wary of offers for “free” medical equipment or services in exchange for your Medicare information.
  • If a call seems suspicious, hang up and contact the clinic where you receive care directly using the phone number listed on our website for that location.
