October 3, 2016 — Texas Digestive Disease Consultants is pleased to announce new locations in Cedar Park and surrounding Austin area.
Texas Digestive Disease Consultants, a professional association of over one hundred exceptionally trained gastroenterologists throughout the state of Texas is pleased to welcome Dr. Junaid Siddiqui, Dr. Rafael Amaro, Dr. Masi Khaja and advanced level providers Jill Hamburg and Tara Conley to the organization. These providers were previously known as Gastroenterology Associates, an affiliate of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Siddiqui and his associates are highly trained, board-certified gastroenterologists with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders. The group also has special expertise in treating small bowel diseases, complicated liver, and pancreato-biliary diseases. General procedures (colonoscopy and EGD) are performed at Hill Country Endoscopy Center using state-of-the-art, high resolution, full spectrum, Fuse scopes. TDDC Cedar Park is the only gastroenterology group in the Austin area offering this cutting edge technology, which is very helpful in identifying precancerous polyps. Additional procedures performed by the group include endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), deep enteroscopy using double balloon endoscopy (DBE), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), halo RFA ablation for Barrett’s esophagus, and endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR.)
The Cedar Park group has been committed to the field of gastroenterology and serving their local community. Dr. Siddiqui is currently the Medical Director of the Department of Gastroenterology at Cedar Park Regional Hospital and is also member of the Round Rock & Cedar Park Regional tumor board. “We are excited and privileged to have Dr. Siddiqui, Dr. Amaro, Dr. Khaja and their staff join TDDC” says Dr. James Weber, TDDC’s president and CEO.
